It may take time, all wonderful things do in this life, and the best things come when you least expect them to! Richard came into my life at the most unexpected time, when I thought nothing to be going right or that I could never have a relationship with another human. But what we had was perfect for the time and grew as we did emotionally and physically. It will happen for you as well!! <3

The most amazing thing happened yesterday:
Richard asked me to marry him; I said YES!!!
It was the sweetest and most nerdy way to propose ever!!! He pulled out a book he had ordered from Philippa Rice - We love her comics so much, we look at them and can relate, it helps that they even look similar! But Richard had her add something very, VERY special in the book that he ordered; the panel above reads:
Him: Hey Sweetie?
Her: Yes Baobei?
Him: Will you Marry Me?
And as soon as I read that I looked at him and said; in complete shock awe and slight disbelief ( I wasn’t 100% positive that he’d done this for me until I looked at his face) and he pulled out a TARDIS box; already flashing, opened it and asked me. There was no other answer other than Yes that I would have given him.
He slipped the ring onto my finger and I just couldn’t believe what had just happened!! I just held onto him, kissed him and was in such shock!! But felt such amazement, awe and love. Yet again this man managed to surprise me in the most amazing of ways. His proposal was utterly perfect, it was just so us, geeky, nerdy, sentimental and through a comic!!! And just the two of us, laying in our bed together. Intimate and Perfect.

Had such a great night!!
I got to have 3 really close friends over tonight for a game night and we had so much fun!! I made dinner and we ate junkfood, played with Mika and shot nerf darts for Dexter to chase around the house, and played the game of Life!
Half way though every few turns we’d stop and just pick something random to talk about, mainly about sex - I mean come on we’re 20+ women all gathered round my coffee table sitting on the floor playing life- what else are we going to talk about?
But I had so much fun. I forgot how nice it was to open up at home, and with people other than my boyfriend who I can open up to and have known for 2-7 years It’s like sisters but without the annoying factor!!
I’m really looking forward to getting together more this summer when I return to Canada! I just love my friends, so much <3 I love being able to feel comfortable around people and not freak out or think of what they think of me because like Richard- I know they love me and don’t care :) I never feel judged around them, they’re always honest and It’s just so nice to be able to surround myself with the best kind of people. I am so lucky to have them as my best friends, I really am.
